The nVidia 7900GS graphics card fan runs at 100% under Vista, making too much noise.
Discussion:
Driver issue with the Dell-version.
Resoution:
� Browse to http://www.nvidia.com/object/sysutility.html and install the application
� Run the application
� Select Advanced
� Under Performance on the left side, click Adjust GPU Settings
� Select Direct Fan Control, and uncheck Show in degrees Celsius
� Move the GPU (3D) slider in small increments, click Apply and then OK
� You may need to make several changes until you find the perfect medium
