Dell™ Inspiron™ 1501 and Latitude™ 131L portables cannot resume from standby mode without the AC adapter when battery level is less than 30 charged
Problem:
Dell� Inspiron� 1501 and Latitude� 131L portables cannot resume from standby mode without the AC adapter when battery level is less than 30% charged.
Resolution:
To disable the ATI PowerPlay settings for higher performance or longer battery life, perform the following steps:
1. Click the Start button and click Control Panel.
The Control Panel window opens.
2. Click the ATI Catalyst Control Center icon.
The ATI Catalyst Control Center window opens.
3. Click the Enable PowerPlay check box to remove the check mark.

4. Click the Apply button.
5. Click the OK button.
