Microsoft download Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
downloaded IE7 today. cant download anything from microsoft download center now. my dad cant either. our win xp copies are legal. its been like this for a month. media player 10/11 or word/excel/ppt viewer or windows live search cant be downloaded. i can download media player 10 via windows update custom install. is the download server down or something? can someone go to the microsoft download center website and see if you can download anything? it doesnt have to be dl/installed, just the Run pop up window appearing would be alright. anyone having this same problem? im so angry now

Do you have Comcast as your ISP? Having the same problem for the last two months I cant download WMP 11, Defender, IE and everything else from Microsoft except the windows updates that are automatic.
Ive searched other forums and so far the only relating factor has been Comcast but I dont see why that would be the problem considering that every other website isnt affected.
You are not the only one confused by this and it seems no one has the answer.
